Newest Adoption!
A Closer Look held a recent vote to adopt an endangered animal and our newest addition to our collection of animals is the Sea Turtle. We hope to continue A Closer Look through this year and any ideas are welcome!!!
Suggestion: Post 'The Animal Song' Savage Garden as a beginning of the year song for the gr. 5s. Personally I don't know if they're really interested in this.
I think we should dedicate December to global warming because it hasn't snowed yet, just rained. I am creating a presentation on it right now and maybe we could present it to the class.(?) Add some reports/articles on the blog; and a few tips about how to post safely (!)
ACL is kind of at a stand-still right now, and I have a few ideas. Put a link on to WWF, they have some good articles about animal tracking. Post another video! Do you think they will go all the way back to January just to watch the videos? Have people make reports. Remember last year, when everyone wrote reports and we put them on the bulletin board? Post the reports on the blog. Get people interested! Try and get the Earth Rangers in ... I can write a report on Sea Turtles and post it to kick off our newest adoption. Make a suggestion post and encourage people to comment with their ideas for fundraisers and ways to improve ACL or make it publicized. Other suggestions?????
